Well, it’s certainly been difficult to be writing regularly having been so busy. Saskatchewan, the lake, Halifax – each required some of my attention. The good news is that with the most recent voyage, I’ve been able to secure an apartment in Halifax and the moving plans are coming along well! Yes, if you didn’t already know, Me + 1 are moving to the east coast in less than two months and I’ll be going to Dalhousie for library + info studies. Now that the major detail of the move (finding a roof to have over my head) has been taken care of, I’m hoping to get back to this space with a bit more frequency. Here’s some of what I’m planning:
- My Morning Jacket at Ottawa’s Bluesfest (tomorrow!!)
- Grapefruit cupcakes with Matcha tea frosting (recipe + tips)
- Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate-orange frosting (recipe + tips)
- Opening an Etsy shop
